How cold is the Iceology Cold Plunge?
The water can get as cold as 39°F. Once it reaches 39° the chiller will regulate the temp as it rises by 2 degrees, ensuring a constant cold plunge between 39° - 41°F.
How does the Iceology Cold Plunge work?
Our cold plunge tubs cycle water through a chiller via a water pump and filter to create a very cold water bath with no ice needed (our chillers cool the water down as far as 39°F).
How long does the cold plunge take to get cold?
On your first fill, your cold plunge should cool at a rate of approximately 3-5° per hour. Once cooled to the desired temperature, the chiller will monitor and control water temperature within 2° of the set temperature.
Can I use my cold plunge tub outdoors?
Yes, but recommend placing your cold plunge tub under a covered area, such as a patio, to protect it from the weather and elements. In the event this is not possible, the chiller must be protected in a well ventilated enclosure.
If you live where temperatures drop below freezing, we do not recommend running the chiller during those cold periods. It is ultimately your responsibility to ensure you protect your plunge from freeze damage. If you have the option to bring your plunge in a garage or inside during the winter months that is your safest bet.
How do I maintain my cold plunge tub and keep the water clean?
There are a few things to consider about cold plunge tub maintenance.
First, make sure you change your filters on time. On average, we recommend changing your filter cartridge every 2-4 weeks. Not only will this ensure your water stays clear of debris, but it will keep your chiller running smoothly as well.
Also, be sure to clean your chiller screen each month.
For sanitizing, you can use our Sirona maintenance kit to get your water just right. Also make sure to rinse before plunging.
Can I add ice to the water to cool it down faster?
We recommend against this as ice impurities can prevent water flowing through the pump and chiller, possibly damaging internal components and voiding any warranty on the equipment.
Does the Iceology Cold Plunge have a warranty?
We offer a 1-year standard warranty on our cold plunge that can be extended at an additional cost. To read full warranty details, click here.
Where do you ship?
We ship to anywhere in the Continental US via LTL freight for a flat rate of $275. We do not currently ship outside of the Continental US.
You can also pick up locally for free at our showroom in Ft. Lauderdale or we can provide delivery/setup for an additional fee within a 60-mile radius.
What can I expect for delivery?
Iceology Cold Plunge will be delivered via LTL freight on a pallet. Once it is picked up from our facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the freight carrier will call, text, and/or email you to schedule the delivery appointment. The pallet will be placed curbside at your residence, and it will be your responsibility to relocate it to your desired location and handle the disposal of the packaging. The delivery driver WILL NOT be able to help you move the tub inside or to the stop you'd like to set it up.
Upon request, we can coordinate a "no signature needed" delivery appointment if you are unable to be present for delivery.
