ICEOLOGY COLD PLUNGE SAFETY STATEMENTS & PRECAUTIONS

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING SAFETY PRECAUTIONS& FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.

SET UP WARNINGS

Electrical Outlets. To ensure the safe operation of your Iceology Cold Plunge Tub, it's essential to use a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protected outlet. You can either use the GFCI protected plug adapter included with your tub or connect to another GFCI protected outlet. This precaution is crucial for maintaining electrical safety and preventing potential hazards.

Power Outages. During a power outage, ensure the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub is unplugged before restoring power.

Filters. When filling your Iceology Cold Plunge Tub, always use the provided hose filter or a similar type of filter. This ensures the water remains clean and free of impurities, maintaining the performance and longevity of your tub.

Surfaces. Ensure the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub is placed on a flat, level surface before use. Please note that any damage resulting from improper placement is NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY.

Weight. To ensure optimal performance and safety, it is crucial that the surface supporting your Iceology Cold Plunge Tub is strong enough to accommodate the total weight. When filled with water, the tub weighs approximately 950 pounds, and this does not include the weight of the user. Please make sure to install the tub on a robust and stable surface that can handle this load

Cover. To maintain the longevity and performance of your Iceology Cold Plunge Tub, please avoid leaving it open, uncovered, and exposed to direct sunlight for extended periods. Proper care and protection will ensure you get the most out of your cold plunge experience.

Secure. Securing your Iceology Cold Plunge with appropriate locks or covers is crucial for ensuring child safety, reducing liability, and preventing unauthorized use.

Non-Commercial Use. This product is neither intended nor warrantied for commercial use.

POTENTIAL HAZARD / INJURY WARNINGS

Intended Use & Children. This product is NOT intended for use by children under the age of 18. To reduce the risk of injury or death, do NOT permit children to use this product unless supervised by a responsible adult. It is the owner’s responsibility to secure the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub to prevent children, animals and unwanted guests from entering cooler without permission.

Risk of Accidental Drowning. Extreme caution must be exercised to prevent unauthorized access by children.  To avoid accidents, such as accidental drowning, ensure that children cannot use or access the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub unless they are supervised at all times.  It is the owner’s responsibility to secure the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub when not in use. 

Level Ground. To avoid property damage or risk of injury, the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub should be installed on a level surface with a solid foundation, capable for supporting the weight of the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub and water (around 825 pounds when filled), as well as the user.

Risk of Electric Shock. To avoid dangerous situations involving water and electricity, place or install the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub at least 1.5 meters (5 feet) from all electrical devices and outlets.  Do not permit any electrical appliance (such as a light, telephone, radio, television, etc.) within 1.5 meters (5 feet) of the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub.

Electrical Supply & Outlet. The electrical supply for this product must include a suitable circuit breaker.  The plug and outlet powering the chiller must be at least 1.5 meters (5 feet), from the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub.  The disconnect tied to the plug and outlet must also be readily accessible and visible to the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub occupant.  Only plug the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub into a GFCI outlet.  Owners may use the GFCI-protected plug adapter included with the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub or another GFCI protected outlet.

Water Temperature & Session Time. To reduce the risk of injury, before entering the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub the user should measure the water temperature with an accurate thermometer to ensure the temperature regulating device is functioning properly. The water in the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub should never be below 39 degrees Fahrenheit.  First time users should limit the use of the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub to one (1) minute per session. Experienced users should limit their sessions to 10 minutes. 

COMPONENT DISCLAIMERS

Cooler / Tub.  The cooler that serves as the tub for the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub is covered by the 1 year functional operation warranty above.  However, minor blemishes (including dents, slight warping, scuffs, scratches, discoloration, fading, non-sticking graphics, or wear to skid pads) are NOT covered under this warranty. 

Chiller.  The chiller included with the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub is covered by the 1 year functional operation warranty above.  However, damage to the chiller caused by freezing conditions, improper maintenance, improper water chemistry, or owner negligence is NOT covered under this warranty.   

Pump.  The pump assembly (including the pump, impeller, and pump cover) included with the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub is covered by the 1 year functional operation warranty above.  However, damage to the pump assembly, or any component thereof, caused by freezing conditions, improper maintenance, improper water chemistry, or owner negligence is NOT covered under this warranty.

Plumbing.  The hoses and fittings included with the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub are covered by the 1 year functional operation warranty above.  However, damage to the plumbing caused by freezing conditions, improper maintenance, improper water chemistry, or owner negligence is NOT covered under this warranty.  Additionally, minor leaks and condensation (that do not affect the functional performance of the product) are not evidence of product or component failure or malfunction, and are NOT covered under this warranty.

Power Cord, Plug & Adapter.  The power cord, plug, and GFCI protected plug adapter included with the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub are covered by the 1 year functional operation warranty above.  However, damage to these components caused by freezing conditions, exposure to water, or improper electrical connections to non GFCI protected outlets is NOT covered under this warranty. 

Other Components.  All other components included with the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub are covered by the 1 year functional operation warranty above.  However, damage to these components caused by freezing conditions, improper maintenance, improper water chemistry, or owner negligence is NOT covered under this warranty. 

MEDICAL WARNINGS

This product is a cold plunge tub / cooler and should be used only for said purpose. Cold water temperatures are used at your own risk. Users are instructed to adjust the water temperature of the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub to their preference. Adding ice to the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub can result in injury to you, and may also cause the chiller to freeze and break. NOTE: Adding ice to the water and freezing the chiller will void the warranty.

Using water below 39 degrees (F) could result in injury to you.

Women who are pregnant or may be pregnant should follow their doctor’s orders regarding the use of the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub.

The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication prior to  entering, or during the use of the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub could lead to unconsciousness, injury, and the possibility of drowning. The use of drugs or alcohol could also greatly increase the risk of fatal hypothermia.

Persons suffering from obesity, or that have a medical history of heart disease, stroke, high or low blood pressure, circulatory problems, diabetes, infectious diseases, or immune deficiency syndromes should consult a physician before using this product. If you have trouble breathing while using the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub, discontinue use and consult a physician immediately.

The use of the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub directly after strenuous exercise may result in injury to you.

Prolonged immersion in the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub may result in injury to you.

Prolonged immersion in cold water may induce hypothermia (a medical condition caused by prolonged exposure to very cold temperatures where the body loses heat faster than it can produce it). Normal body temperature is around 98.6°F/37°C.  Hypothermia exists when body temperatures drop below 95°F/35°C. 

Users should exit the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub immediately if uncomfortable, lightheaded, or experiencing palpitations, chest pains, numbness or dizziness.

Consult with your physician prior to using the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub or any cold plunge to understand your personal health risks and to get answers to your personal medical questions. Soaking in a cold tub like the Iceology Cold Plunge Tub can be extremely beneficial to your health, as well as therapeutic, but it can also be hazardous under certain conditions.
